What you'll eat

Osaka calls itself kuidaore — "eat until you fall." This is the tour that lets you do exactly that, but with someone who can tell you which takoyaki stall the locals actually queue at and which one is just for the Instagram crowd.

We walk Dotonbori and the side streets at night, stopping at five to seven different vendors — including the famous bites and the ones tucked into alleys you'd never find alone. Your guide handles ordering, explains what you're eating, and pairs the food with the history of how Osaka became Japan's kitchen.
